The RGT Cambridgge variety belongs to early-maturing grain sorghum varieties. Plants have a semi-open panicle shape; the grain is red in color. The variety demonstrates high resistance to lodging, relative resistance to fungal diseases, as well as the ability to adapt to arid, cold, and humid conditions.

The variety's produce is characterized by low tannin content and a high level of protein, which allows it to be used in livestock farming, in particular in pig farming. Agrotechnical requirements include planting on soils suitable for sorghum with a seeding rate of 300,000 to 400,000 seeds per hectare. The variety demonstrates good suitability for harvesting and threshing.
