Variety description

The plant is a compact, densely branched shrub, the parent forms of which are Spiraea japonica «Magic Carpet» and Spiraea hayatana. The height of the bush varies from 0.4 to 2 meters depending on growing conditions.
The young foliage has a bright orange hue in spring, turns lime green in summer, and turns fiery red and yellow tones in autumn. Small pale pink flowers with red stamens are gathered in corymbose inflorescences and appear on current-year shoots.
The variety has high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures from -23°C to -30°C. Flowering begins in early summer; after pruning spent inflorescences, reblooming is possible. To maintain ornamental appearance and stimulate the growth of bright shoots, hard pruning at the end of winter is recommended.
