The plant is a compact bushy annual 15–35 cm in height. The foliage is dark green, pinnately dissected, and possesses a characteristic aroma. The inflorescences are double, bright orange or golden-orange in color, with a diameter of 4–7 cm.

The variety belongs to early-flowering annuals. The flowering period lasts from June until the onset of frost. The crop is undemanding and shows good resistance to heat; it is used for decorating flower beds, borders, and edgings, as well as for cultivation in containers and flower pots.
