The variety was obtained as a result of targeted breeding via induced mutation. The plants possess the ability for abundant flowering, maintaining stability even under low-light conditions.

The plant has a compact habit, which makes it suitable for use in hanging baskets, mixed container plantings, and for landscaping shaded areas of the garden as an annual crop.
