The variety is tall and is distinguished by a high thousand kernel weight, which has a positive effect on forage quality. The plant shows resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew, brown rust, septoria, and snow mold.
Due to its characteristics, the variety is used in scientific programs for studying resistance to diseases, in particular Fusarium head blight, and is used as breeding stock for selection research.
