The variety is classified as very early in maturity with rapid start of stem elongation and early heading. It has a facultative growth habit, which allows for late sowing dates. The plants reach a fairly large height and are characterized by moderate sensitivity to lodging and rather low winter hardiness.
The grain has a good test weight and high protein content. The variety shows high resistance to yellow rust and brown rust, as well as eyespot. Resistance to powdery mildew, scald, and Fusarium is rated as medium.
The primary purpose of the variety is biogas production due to high biomass productivity; it is also suitable for grain and straw production.
