The Ronos variety is a German winter soft wheat variety. In genetic studies, it is classified as a variety carrying the Pm4b resistance gene, which provides protection against local populations of the powdery mildew pathogen.

Studies classify Ronos in the group of varieties with intermediate photoperiod sensitivity. The variety has been used in breeding programs as a parent form, in particular during the development of the winter wheat variety Drifter.
