The FL06-556 variety was obtained by crossing the Sweetcrisp and Indigocrisp varieties. The plant is a vigorous, upright bush, prone to producing long shoots when summer-pruned. The variety's chilling requirement is from 300 hours at temperatures below 7°C.
The variety is mid-late, with the fruit ripening period occurring in April-May. The berries are large, violet-blue in color, have a sweet taste with low acidity and a firm texture. They are characterized by a small dry scar when picked and a high ability to maintain quality on the bush.
