The plant has a vigorous, upright growth habit. The variety was developed as part of the University of Florida breeding program and is adapted to conditions requiring a minimal winter dormancy period.
The variety is characterized by good disease resistance under field conditions. The fruits ripen earlier than a number of other varieties, which makes the cultivar promising for fresh market sales.
