The plant possesses a central stem from which new growth develops. Strap-shaped leaves of dark green color reach 60 cm in length and are positioned at an angle to the stem. The root system is developed, hanging down at the base of the plant; new roots form from the central stem.

Peduncles develop from leaf axils or the main stem. The variety is intended for ornamental use and is grown as a floricultural crop due to the high quality and longevity of the flowers.
