The main distinction of the variety is the shift of the life cycle from biennial to annual, which allows harvesting in the year of sowing. The plant forms an erect flowering stem 1–2 meters in height and blooms 8–10 days earlier than wild populations.
The variety possesses a stable content of biologically active substances, including flavonoids and mucilaginous components, while having differences in the composition of iridoids and essential oils. The seeds are distinguished by faster and more uniform germination, and the plant itself demonstrates good adaptability to cultivation in sunny areas with fertile soils.
