The variety Sunmarimura, known under the commercial name Temari Blue, is a plant with a trailing growth habit. The bush forms dense spreading clumps 10–25 cm high with shoots up to 120 cm long. Stems are light green, densely pubescent; leaves are dark green, oval, with crenate margins.

Flowers are collected in large blue-violet inflorescences with a whitish-greenish or yellow eye and slightly wavy petal edges. The variety possesses high growth vigor, is resistant to powdery mildew, and tolerates both high and low temperatures. Intended for cultivation in hanging baskets and containers.
