The variety is a hybrid obtained as a result of a breeding program focused on creating resistant plants, likely based on a cross between Veronica longifolia and Veronica spicata. Plants of the series have an upright habit, the ability to tiller from the base, abundant flowering, and dense spicate inflorescences.
