Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 120–160 cm. Dark green serrated leaves of lanceolate shape are arranged in whorls along sturdy stems. Inflorescences are long, branched, resembling a candelabra, and are colored in pale pink or salmon-pink.
The variety blooms from late summer to early autumn and is distinguished by a good upright form. It prefers full sun or partial shade, as well as moist, fertile, and well-drained soils. Does not tolerate soil drying out.
Veronicastrum is relatively resistant to diseases, however, in excessive humidity it may be subject to root rot, and during drought — to powdery mildew. In strong shade or with excessive fertilization, stems may lose their strength.
