Variety description

The plant is an upright, bushy, medium-sized shrub. The leaves are flat and shorter than those of the parent species C. uncinatum. The stems are of medium thickness with short internodes.
The flowers are gathered in terminal inflorescences and have a cup-shaped form and a waxy petal texture. There is bright yellow pollen on the style.
The variety is susceptible to powdery mildew, which can cause striping chlorosis of the leaves and their premature shedding, and is also prone to root rot caused by Cylindrocladium.
