Plants have an upright, bushy habit, with height varying from 70 cm to 1.5 m. The variety forms pods up to 23 cm long, in which 5–7 large seeds of white or light green color mature.

The variety possesses high cold tolerance and withstands temperature drops down to -8°C. With autumn sowing, the harvest matures a month earlier than with spring sowing. Plants prefer fertile, heavy, and moist soils.

During cultivation, it is recommended to perform hilling to prevent lodging, as well as pinching the tops after the appearance of the first pods to reduce the risk of aphid infestation.
