The variety is mid-season and has an indeterminate growth type. Plant height at maturity ranges from 93 to 109 cm. Seeds are characterized by a beige seed coat color and absence of hilum pigmentation; plants belong to a group with tannin-containing flowers.

During selection, particular attention was paid to stem lodging resistance, protein content, pod fertility, and the content level of vicine and convicine. The variety was evaluated for resistance to chocolate spot and downy mildew.
