The variety is a representative of the Vicia faba var. minor crop and was intended for use as fodder. It was created during breeding work in Sweden prior to 1990.
The plant matures approximately one week earlier than the Primus variety. Due to lower yields compared to its analogues, the variety did not achieve widespread use and is currently not a modern registered variety.
