The variety is used as a high-protein fodder crop for green mass, hay, or haylage production. In the early to mid-flowering phase, the crude protein content in dry matter is 17–20%.

Plants reach a height of 100–104 cm under conditions of sufficient moisture. To reach the full flowering phase, the variety requires a sum of active temperatures of about 754°C. The variety has good seed germination and is characterized by adaptability.
