The variety is early-maturing, with a vegetation period of 92 to 109 days. When used as a green manure, plant height reaches approximately 94 cm. The variety possesses increased resistance to drought and high temperatures, and is specifically adapted to the conditions of sandy soils.

The yield of the variety ranges from 2120 to 2857 kg/ha. The plant forms more than 11 pods, each containing more than 10 seeds. The protein content in the seed is 20.5–23.8%, and fat content is about 2.5%.

The variety is grown primarily for grain as a high-protein crop. In intensive farming, it is used as a green manure to improve the properties of sandy soils; seeds are also being studied as a protein source for broiler feed.
