The rootstock is a hybrid of Vitis rupestris and Muscadinia rotundifolia. It is characterized by low to moderate vigor, which allows for effective control of the development of the grape variety grafted onto it.
The plant possesses high resistance to root-knot, dagger, ring, citrus, and lesion nematodes, as well as to phylloxera. It exhibits moderate drought tolerance, is easy to graft, and has a root system that develops to a medium or great depth, making it suitable for replanting.
