The variety was obtained as a result of a controlled cross between parental forms IVC A23 and IVC A42. The harvest period in central Puglia occurs at the end of August, which classifies the grape as mid-season.
The berries have a uniform size and shape, with an average weight of about 5.5 grams. The skin is characterized as delicate and crunchy with a firm flesh structure.
The plant has high growth vigor and is adapted to moderate or arid climatic conditions with low rainfall. The variety tolerates temperature drops down to -10 °C.
