The variety was obtained through controlled hybridization using selective breeding as the maternal form and a pollen mixture of seven non-patented red grape varieties. The berries have a broad-elliptical shape, the skin color corresponds to a dark-red shade, and the flesh is light yellow-green in color.
The plant is early-ripening; harvesting under California conditions begins in July. The crop possesses strong and durable resistance to powdery mildew. Cultivation of the variety requires training the vine on trellises.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
