The plant forms a funnel-shaped rosette of medium-green leaves 25–30 cm long and 4–5 cm wide. During the flowering period, the total height reaches 30–40 cm with a diameter of 35–40 cm.

The branched spike-type inflorescence is 20–25 cm long and 10–15 cm in diameter. Flowers and inflorescences are colored in an intense red-dark red. The variety is a shade-tolerant tropical epiphyte requiring diffused light and high air humidity.
