The plant consists of a microscopic vegetative body measuring 0.5–1.5 mm, lacking roots, stems, and leaves. Reproduction occurs vegetatively by budding, with biomass capable of doubling in 1–2 days under optimal conditions.
Cultivation is carried out in controlled greenhouse conditions, which eliminates contact with pathogens and the accumulation of heavy metals. The product is standardized in nutrient composition and contains 40–48% protein in dry matter, as well as a complex of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
