The plant has an upright, vase-shaped growth habit and is slow-growing. With proper care, its height reaches 90–120 cm.

A key feature is the transformation of leaf color: young shoots have a light lime-green color, which with age changes to a deep dark-purple, almost black shade. The petioles and leaf rachis also acquire a dark color; the leaf blades have a pronounced gloss.

The variety is intended for interior landscaping and is characterized by high adaptability to various light levels and drought tolerance due to moisture storage in tuberous rhizomes. The plant is sensitive to waterlogging, which can trigger the development of root rot.
