The Captain Eskimo variety is characterized by cream flower coloration and a plant height in the range of 40–50 cm. Agronomic studies note that this variety is unsuitable for use as a cut flower crop and is most often grown as a potted plant.

Plant development depends on the planting depth of the tubers. Shallow planting at the substrate level accelerates the onset of flowering by approximately 14 days compared to planting at a depth of 2.5–4 cm. With deeper planting, an increase in the number of shoots is observed, while the overall height of the flower stalks remains stable.
