Variety description

The variety is a relatively compact plant about 50 cm tall and about 45 cm wide. The leaves are green, often with characteristic spotting. Inflorescences have a purple color at a young age, which darkens to a reddish-burgundy shade as they age.
The plant is intended for container cultivation, use in landscape design, and as a cut flower. The variety is suitable for hardiness zones 8–10. It requires well-drained, slightly acidic soils with a pH level of 5.6–6.5, and needs regular watering during the growing season and a dry dormant period.
