Variety description

The variety belongs to the colored calla lily group. The spathes have a deep dark purple, almost black color with a velvety satin surface. The leaves are large, glossy, green, and often covered with light speckles.

The plant is compact, reaching a height of 35–50 cm. It is used for cultivation in open ground, containers, or for cut flowers. The variety is thermophilic, requires a dormancy period, and digging up of tubers for the winter in cold climatic conditions.
