The plant has green curved leaves with a very small angle of blade attachment to the stalk. Anthocyanin coloration of the sheath of the first leaf and of the roots at the stalk is absent or very weak.

The tassel has a long main axis above the lowest side branch, which forms a medium angle with the lateral branches. The variety flowers early.
