The sweet corn variety Bonanza is characterized by a ripening period of about 70 days after sowing. The plant is used to produce grain intended for consumption.

In the course of agronomic research, the variety is evaluated by morphological indicators, including plant height, number of leaves, flowering times of male and female inflorescences, as well as the number and weight of ears. The variety's reaction to external factors, in particular salt tolerance, is also studied.
