The ES Tourmaline hybrid is intended for agricultural production, in particular for grain cultivation. Agronomic publications also contain references to its use as a silage crop.
The variety belongs to the group of mid-early hybrids, although in a number of German sources, it is classified as mid-late for silage use conditions. Detailed morphometric indicators of the plant are limited in open sources, as the hybrid more often appears in comparative yield tables and data on grain moisture at harvest.
