The «КВС Фернандо» hybrid is intended for industrial cultivation for grain. It is a mid-early plant with a height of 270–290 cm, a dent grain type, and an ear insertion height of 100–110 cm. The ear contains 12–14 rows with 36–44 grains. The hybrid is characterized by drought tolerance, high grain moisture release, and the presence of the «Stay Green» effect. Starch content in the grain reaches 72–81.6%.
The sweet corn variety «Фернандо» is an early-ripening crop for private gardening with a vegetation period of 70–75 days. The plant reaches a height of up to 1.5 meters. Ears are about 15 cm long with an average weight of 250 g. The grains are large, distinguished by a tender skin, and are intended for fresh consumption or canning.
