Limagrain Genetics Grandes Cultures SA (FR)
10 August 2026
The hybrid was developed by the Funk Seed company and appeared in 1940s trial reports as breeding material. Research evaluated yield potential and plant resistance to pests such as the European corn borer and the corn leaf aphid.
Open publications lack detailed data on morphological traits, such as plant height or grain type. Modern hybrids with similar names, for example MAS 38.D, are different varieties and are unrelated to this historical hybrid.
