The hybrid belongs to the group of early-maturing maize varieties. Its introduction is associated with the development of hybrid breeding in Northern Europe, where it was used primarily for silage harvesting and for fodder purposes.
During the variety development process, improvements in lodging resistance and stalk rot resistance were achieved. The genetic structure of the hybrid is dominated by dent-type material (dent maize) with the addition of flint-type traits (flint maize).
