The hybrid was obtained by crossing the genetic formula (A632 × W117) with the EC21 component, isolated from the local Galician maize race Gallego. In the period 1980–1990, the variety was included in the agricultural seed catalogs of Spain.
Specialized quantitative data on morphological traits, plant height, or disease resistance are absent in the sources. The index "330" in the name presumably indicates the FAO classification, however, precise confirmation of this fact is not presented in the open documentation.
