The Kaper YG variety is a genetically modified plant created by introducing the MON 810 transgene using backcrossing of elite maize lines. YieldGard technology provides crop protection against lepidopteran pests through the synthesis of the Cry1Ab toxin.
The purpose of the variety is cultivation in regions with a high concentration of pests against which the incorporated toxin acts. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and specific agronomic indicators are not presented in open sources.
