The modern hybrid KWS LAURO has a FAO 300 rating and is intended for grain cultivation. The plant reaches a height of 250–280 cm, and ears are attached at a height of 90–100 cm. The grain is of the dent type, and the number of grain rows is 16–18.
This hybrid is characterized by high tolerance to heat and drought, as well as rapid moisture loss. The grain yield potential is up to 150 c/ha.
