LIMAC is identified in historical documents as a synonym for the French-bred maize hybrid LG 11. This hybrid was intended for cultivation for grain used for fodder purposes.

In modern market conditions, the similar name Liskam F1 refers to an early SH2-type supersweet corn hybrid. It reaches a height of 1.7–1.8 meters and produces ears 24–26 centimeters long, intended for sale on the fresh market.
