Zea mays L. subsp. mays (Maize Group) Maize · Agricultural · bred by PIONEER HI-BRED INTERNATIONAL

also searched as: матилда

Variety description

10 August 2026

The hybrid is characterized by a dent-type grain of yellow color. The plant possesses high resistance to lodging and is distinguished by rapid grain drying during the maturation period. The large ear has a drooping shape, which helps reduce the risk of disease damage from moisture and also limits bird damage.

In foreign studies, there is a mention of maize with the name Matilda and an FAO 240 rating, however, confirmed information regarding the affiliation of this hybrid to specific international breeding companies is absent in open sources.
