Mégane is a simple maize hybrid of the early or medium-early maturity group. The plant reaches a height of 275–285 cm with ear placement at a medium level. The ear is 21–22 cm long, contains 14 grain rows, with each row having 26–32 flint-dent grains.
The hybrid possesses tolerance to Fusarium, Helminthosporium and Cercospora rot, as well as pronounced cold tolerance and drought tolerance. The crop is dual-purpose — grain and silage, with a grain yield potential of up to 140 c/ha and silage up to 700 c/ha.
