The NR113 line was developed by The J.C. Robinson Seed Company and is used in breeding work. It is mentioned in patent materials as a component in comparative trials of hybrid combinations, such as NR113/Cl9805 and NR113/NR401.

The reports on the results of hybrid trials involving this line indicated the following indicators: yield 172.8–176.6 units, grain moisture 17.7–18.0%, plant height 101–108 and ear height 39–40. Additional information on morphological traits or resistance of the variety is absent in open publications.
