The plant belongs to short-stature hybrids with low ear placement, which allows for reduced harvesting losses. The hybrid possesses a high grain moisture dry-down rate, which allows for reduced costs for subsequent drying.

Olaki demonstrates high resistance to major diseases, including stalk and ear Fusarium, Helminthosporium leaf blight, as well as common and head smut. In addition, the variety is distinguished by cold tolerance at the initial stages of development and high lodging resistance.
