The maize hybrid PAU 280, also known by the trade name Limagold, was intended for use in agricultural production. Its widespread distribution was recorded in the regions of the former Yugoslavia.
In agronomic studies of the 1970s–1980s, the hybrid was used in experiments to study the influence of planting density and nitrogen fertilizers on morphological indicators, including stem height and lodging resistance. Specific modern data on the maturity group or quality indicators of the product are absent from open sources.
