The corn hybrid PX 77 underwent agricultural trials in the 1970s in the USA, particularly in the state of Ohio. Based on test results from that period, the variety was classified by maturity group and evaluated for yield and grain moisture indicators.

This hybrid was intended for dual use: for grain production and for cultivation for silage. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant, such as height or resistance to diseases, are absent from archival documents.
