The hybrid belongs to the medium-maturity group. During field trials in the 1970s, plant height was recorded at approximately 185 cm. The primary purpose of the variety is grain production.

In agronomic reports of that period, the hybrid was evaluated in the context of lodging and disease resistance, specifically to Helminthosporium maydis, and its susceptibility to the nematodes Meloidogyne arenaria and Meloidogyne incognita was also studied.
