The variety is intended for use as forage maize. The breeder's selection programs are aimed at creating early-maturing hybrids (FAO 150–200) suitable for silage production in northern regions.
A specific feature of this variety's breeding is the effort to combine high starch content with high cell wall digestibility. The variety is undergoing field trials within the Nordic Field Trial System.
