Variety description

10 August 2026

The maize hybrid Serafino belongs to the mid-season group with an FAO of approximately 300 and is intended for use as a silage crop. The plant possesses a vigorous growth type and a high rate of development during the initial stages of vegetation.

The variety exhibits good cold tolerance, which allows for sowing under cool spring conditions. Due to the pronounced stay-green effect, the stems and leaves retain their green color for a long time, which extends the optimal harvest window.

The production is oriented toward the needs of dairy farming and livestock fattening, ensuring high energy value and quality of the silage mass.
