The Świt variety was developed as part of breeding work in Kobierzyce, where specialized companies had been involved in creating maize hybrids since 1953. At present, the variety is considered obsolete and is not included in the lists of current commercial hybrids.
The purpose of the variety was historically focused on silage production, including the use of whole plants or crushed ears, as well as on obtaining dry grain. Public sources do not contain detailed morphological characteristics or specific resistance indicators for this variety.
