The hybrid Yvanoey (breeding number LZM 274/65) belongs to the FAO 250 maturity group. Plants are characterized by tall growth and the formation of large cobs containing 12–14 rows with 30–32 grains each. The thousand kernel weight is 280–300 grams.
The plant possesses high lodging resistance and tolerance to environmental stress conditions. The hybrid is adaptive to various soil types, including fertile moist, cold, as well as medium and light sandy soils. When used for silage, it is distinguished by the high energy value of the feed.
